Who we are
Trust Tint is a car window tinting and vehicle valeting business, trading from Unit 11, Buckholt Business Centre, Buckholt Drive, Worcester, WR4 9ND. We are the data controller for the information described on this page.
You can reach us by email at info@trust-tint.co.uk or by phone on 07778 120945.
What we collect
If you fill in the enquiry form on our contact page, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the services you tick, your vehicle details if you give them, and whatever you write in the message box.
If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation.
We do not collect anything else. There are no accounts to register for, we run no advertising, and we do not buy or sell personal data.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We use your details to answer your enquiry, quote for the work, book you in and get the job done. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the workshop and replying to people who contact us.
We do not send marketing emails and we do not add you to any list.
Who else sees it
Our enquiry form is handled by Formspree, a form service based in the United States, which passes your message to us by email. Their privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
Enquiries are delivered to a mailbox on our own domain, hosted by our web host, and forwarded on to a Google Mail account we read day to day. That means a copy of your message passes through Google's servers. The transfer to Formspree is covered by the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Beyond that, we share your information with nobody, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for 24 months from your last contact with us, then delete them. If we carry out work on your vehicle, we keep the job record for six years, which is what HMRC requires for business records.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own. We use no analytics and no tracking.
Two things on the site are loaded from Google: the map at the bottom of every page, and the fonts the site is typeset in. Both send your IP address to Google, and the map may set Google's own cookies in your browser. You can block these through your browser settings, though the map will stop working if you do.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict what we do with it, object to us holding it, or send it to you or someone else in a portable format.
Just ask, by email or phone. There is no charge, and we will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. There is no separate notification, so check back if it matters to you.
